Honored to be introduced to Mr. Peck around twenty five years ago on the Fox lot by my then cinematographer client Barry Markowitz. Mentioned to Mr. Peck that my (still) dear friend/law school roommate Phillip Muhl’s dad, Edward, who was Head of Production at Universal at the time of green-lighting To Kill A Mockingbird, would certainly want me to pass along his best regards. Gregory asked that I not only returned his good wishes, but proceeded to tell me stories about their conversations from over thirty five years ago as if they had been chatting the day before.
Insightful, graceful, enthusiastic and present, these qualities I had the opportunity to witness first hand. I listened and learned, and because of those compelling positive traits I, too, remember that chat with Gregory Peck as if it happened yesterday.
