I watched a lot of movies starring Gregory Peck, but “Gentlemen’s Agreement” had a profound effect on me, when I watched it while taking a class in high school called “Minorities” in 1979. The lessons imparted from that film have lasted a lifetime. Years later, when deciding what to name our son, my only choice was Gregory in honor of Mr. Peck. Since then, my entire family has watched many of Peck’s films. My son is now 22, and he loves the origin of his name.
