My father, Eldred R. Gilpin, received a call from Gregory’s attorney towards the end of Gregory’s life.. It seems that Gregory is somehow related to my father’s family. We were just all flabbergasted to learn of the family connection and now refer to him as “Cousin” Gregory.
(They really did look very similar – jet black hair, with the same hairline, tall, etc.)
