I was a very early reader and had a wonderful town librarian who gave me books far beyond my grade level to keep me interested. I was probably only about eight when I read To Kill a Mockingbird.
What was wonderful was that when I finally saw the movie, Gregory Peck was exactly how I had pictured the character.
