He was the loveliest most gracious person going out of his way to converse with anyone in the elevator he would meet as well as neighbors in his walks around the neighborhood! To this day I don’t know how he and his daughter managed to film a scene of an interview with him in Gramercy Park for the documentary, A Conversation With Gregory Peck. But, as a Trustee of the Park and keeper of the keys, filming in the park was absolutely forbidden then as it is now. We are all certainly happy they managed it because it sure was terrific and we loved it.
