I have always loved To Kill A Mockingbird. I saw the movie when I was 13. I loves everything about the characters and their relationships. There were so many lessons in this story. One of my favorite was when she invited a classmate to her house for lunch. When her friend asked for syrup and proceed to pour it all over his lunch. Well Scout couldn’t help but speak out to everyone at the table saying it was nuts to do that. The housekeeper was gracious and called Scout into the kitchen and told her that as her guest he was welcome to do anything he wanted and that she needed to be a good host. That is a lesson of love. Of course, I loved the evening talks between Scout and her Dad. Everything was memorable including the music.
